Most of the private dental colleges arrange free dental check-up and treatment camps in villages and cities. They advertise about the free treatment by senior doctors of the hospital but the main objective behind these camps is only to attract patients. Not senior doctors but the students examine the patients and as a free medicine one or two tablets pf PCM are given. Advertisement of the college, NOT CHARITY is the main objective. but even then patients don't like to go to such colleges. Is it fair ? |

A free dental camp by a private dental college in Rajasthan attracted only 12 patients but next day news in Rajasthan Patrika was " A huge camp by the dental college was arranged in which 120 patients were treated and free medicines were distributed. Reason: The administrator of college promised free treatment to some reporters of Rajasthan Patrika. Is it fair ? |
